The Pistil mirror is one of Max Ingrand’s most iconic creations. Our very rare example, which retains its original glass, was part of a limited edition run of this models’ first variation done for Maison Leleu. Its particularity lies in the treatment of the cabochons with a chisel burst technique. Later on, Fontana Arte’s editions were made in larger numbers with simpler, faceted cabochons, making our mirror an exceptional early example.
